I've seen the movie, but I haven't read the book
One of the main themes of the movie High Fidelity is top 5 lists. I'd rather not list my top 5 breakups (have I even dated 5 women?) or top 5 missed opportunities.
Instead, I'll do some top 5 music lists. Comments encouraged.

- Bruce Cockburn – Incredibly prolific, stylistically diverse

I have both seen the movie and read the book. I saw the movie first. That movie though is so faithfull to the book that I couldn’t get the movie out of my head when reading the book even though the book takes place in England. As always the book has more, but in this case you don’t need to read it.
Top Five Songs that Remind me of Me 10+ years ago.
Lost Horizons – Gin Blossoms
Smells Like Teen Spirt – Nirvanna
It’s a Shame About Ray – Lemonheads
Ball and Chain – Social Distortion
Basket Case – Green Day
Do your top five missed opportunities and maybe you can get more people to comment. . .
